Bushido Bots is a Rhythmic Fighting game developed by Waking Oni Games, a BIPOC led studio, focused on creating experiences to uplift underrepresented voices while exploring cultural intersections, media, and nostalgia. This prototype version of the project was created for the Play Anywhere Game Jam in 2020, sponsored by Google Stadia.

Players take control of a Bushido Bot and engage in a miniature sized duel to the death. Move around the arena, adjust your stance, and attack to take out your opponent's armor while looking for holes in their defenses. Gameplay is rhythmic and fast paced, players must step to the beat to use their actions and land attacks.

2 Controllers required to play
Left Stick: Move
A: Switch to Low Stance
X: Switch to Medium Stance
Y: Switch to High Stance
Right Trigger: Attack with current stance

How To Play:
You may only perform actions when your Bushido Bot is glowing.
Bushido Bots will glow after a certain number of musical beats.
Win by dealing critical damage to your opposing Bushido Bot!
